Before and After

Recently I have discovered the blog: BetterAfter. It is awesome. I really love fun makeover projects, but I get bogged down with the process (this is actually true about most things in my life;). However, this site gives the before and after pictures with little to-do in between. NICE! Now I have 400 and 1 blogs to stalk. I thought I would give you a couple "better afters" of my own today.

Remember this boring, drab desk in the extra room. Me and Aevyn "stressed" it out in a pickle green;)
Here's the Before:

And the After:

And speaking of Mama Joe, she recently came to town. She and Tyler rearranged the playroom. That girl is something else.

Here's the before:

And the After:

The playroom is getting a couple of new additions via Moo's wingback chairs. I hope to recover them and put them on either side of the TV. We are in desperate need of TV seating. Does anyone out there own a good slipcover?! I was happy to order some from Overstock.com that looked quite nice. What came in the mail could easily pass for a bed sheet. I WISH that I had taken pictures of it to show you. It was truly horrific. I finally gave up and decided to make my own. So, it looks like these two babies are getting a makeover yet again.

Here is the first Before and After:

I am looking into these fabrics for the chairs. Which one do you like?

Last but not least, this cute little number (and I don't mean Stoney) was a Christmas present from Moo. It  is very cute and I am almost done making it sparkle. Which of course means stressing it out;) Pictures to come soon!

  1. Oh how I love your creativity! The next thing you need to figure out is how to get on your blog and not have to click on 'newer post' 20 times to get to the most recent post. Shouldn't the most recent be first? Just wondering'.

Love the photos and getting to see all you've done. You're amazing!
