Goodwill Hunting

Fridays are known as Family Fun Fridays at our house. Tyler usually has Fridays off and they have become our Saturdays. "Family Fun" really means nothing more than just hang out time together. We usually waste the day in the garage building things, riding bikes, or at the zoo. Last Friday we decided to go to the Sugarland mall for a diversion. On the way I asked Tyler if we could go to the Sugarland Goodwill which is SO much better than ours. I told Tyler that I would much rather go to the Browsaroun, Goodwill, and the Dollar Store than to go to the mall. Just sayin. He thinks I am a redneck. ANYWHO, we went to Goodwill, and it was the highlight of my day. We walked away with some great books for the kids, a Ryan Adams album-for 2 dollars!, and here are my finds:

A couple of pretty glass containers for soap:

(I must add here that I left these on the table and Stone just now filled them with water and was drinking out of them. NO, I haven't washed them.)

A handmade by a granny, crocheted jacket. It even smells like a grandpa.
The picture doesn't do it justice. It was love at first sight. Just check out the sleeves. I can't wait to put some fun buttons on it!

This pretty little quilt was at HomeGoods. LOVE! I think it was 39 bucks.

Then we had a wonderful lunch at the Cheesecake Factory!

It was a great Family Fun Friday! Since then we've been hanging out with this stranger:

Goodbye for now!
