No one cares about the pumpkin patch

This past week we have enjoyed many fall festivities! It seems as though Fall has officially arrived, at least by our calendars.  However, we are enjoying the likes of 90 degree weather during the day.  What. The. Heck. Anywho, last Friday we hosted the first ever annual pumpkin carving party at our house. What FUN! How, have I never indulged in this festivity before now? (shhhhh, Moo.) We had some amazing artists ! After carving, the boys and Grace played cards until 1:00 am.  That is too LATE for this Momma!

Earlier this week we went to the pumpkin patch with my dear friend, Katherine.  It is becoming our little tradition.  Last year the church had a hay maze-which was amazing, hot, and hay-fever inducing. This year they had a library...of sorts.  I am certain that the kids played in the patch for 30 seconds and the rest of the hour was spent reading books. Why on earth do they choose to have quiet hour at the pumpkin patch?? There also was a small zoo under the pumpkin-buying table which afforded much excitement. 18 dollars (I hope Tyler isn't reading. If so, I love you, baby) and 5 pumpkins later we left.

Amazingly enough, we just got home from yet another fall party. We are just CRAZY about fall here in Pearland!

In other news, after my Laurie Beth encouraged me to blog more about my crafty undertakings,  I decided to blog about redoing Stone's room.  I have little patience for the process of things in general which is why I never post the process of my projects. ARG. However, I realize the process is the important part to some people. (Ahem, Moo).  I started priming today, so check back soon!!

  1. Love all the pumpkin pictures. Such a great idea! Can't wait to see what you're doing in Stones room! I know if you have anything to do with it, it'll be cute - in a cool boy way.
