Wedding and Worn and Weathered Tin

Last weekend we journeyed to Memphis for Natalie and Joe's wedding. It was so much fun! Their wedding was "so them." We are all very excited to welcome Joe into our family. We had a great time and can't wait to visit them in their new home! Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

This week has been a little gross around our house. Monday I was at the doctor with Stone. He had strep throat:0 Then I ended the week with Aevyn at the doctor with asthma issues. Blehhh. The one redeeming (yes, redeeming) quality of the week has been the rain. I think it has rained every day this week. I LOOOVVEE the rain.
I have been working this week on moving Stone into the guest room. He is over-running the office turned baby room. I finally finished painting the room this week. The color is called "worn and weathered tin." I think I now have three different grays in my house. What can I say?  I like dreary.

Bye-Bye yellow. I hate your stinkin face.

Hello gray! (PS. how do you spell "gray?" G-r-e-y? G-r-a-y?)

Here are a few of my inspiration photos for the room:

I found some sheets at Goodwill that are very similar to the striped ones on the bed above. YAY! I think they were 1.99. What up, Goodwill!?

And of course, this room:

I am excited to see how it turns out. Maybe Stone will finally have a real room! Stay tuned!

PS. Thank you Lydia Campbell and LilyGlassPhotography.com for the pics. oh yeah, and my Iphone. thank you Iphone.
